Snowflake Challenge Day 2: Fanworks by others

In your own space, post a rec for at least three fanworks that you did not create. Drop a link to your post in the comments. See if you can rec fanworks that are less likely to be praised: tiny fandoms, rare pairings, fanworks other than stories, lesser known kinks or tropes. Find fanworks that have few to no comments, or creators new to a particular fandom and maybe aren't well known or appreciated. Appreciate them.


1. Driving Lessons by mrstater. Downton Abbey, Sybil/Branson, PG-13.  Branson teaches Sybil to drive and to dance.  Sweet, fun mid-series-two fic.

2. Game of Thrones - This is War by Youtube user GotAriGold.  I knew there had to be a GoT music video to this song, and I was right.  There aren't just one, there are lots of them.  After watching a bunch of them, this is the one that stood out.  The character choices for each of the archetypes, the editing, the scene choices, all top notch.  I also liked that it seemed to be fair to all sides.  This isn't a video that's centered on one family or group of characters. Everyone is in here, and gets a fair shake.

3. And now for a fic that made me cry. Where? by sheebeen. PotC, Naval friendship, PG-13.  Reunions in the afterlife are always bittersweet, but this made me cry and smile at the same time.

4. And... another fic that upset me greatly... (That's how I know it's good...) Posthumous Existence by Marquise. Game of Thrones, Jaime/Cersei, AU, Teen and Up. Cersei awaits execution. Her voice in this, I think, is tragically, perfectly her.
