Snowflake Challenge: Day 1

So, I've decided a bit late to participate in the fandom Snowflake challenge. My answer for day 1 is under the cut.


Day 1

In your own space, post a rec for at least three fanworks that you have created. It can be your favorite fanworks that you've created, or fanworks you feel no one ever saw, or fanworks you say would define you as a creator.

1. One Night's Rest PotC, gen.

James Norrington and Andrew Gillette find each other alive in the aftermath of the hurricane. This fic is the first time I ever wrote a lot of the two of them in one story, and I've always been proud of the way their friendship came through in this.

2. The Wolf's Head Robin Hood BBC, gen.

This is probably my favorite thing I've ever written. It's a completely AU version of events in the series, and playing with how the character relationships would have been different if Guy had been outlawed was endlessly fun.

3. We Have Heard the Mermaids Singing PotC, gen.

This is another very old PotC fic from back in 2006. Again, I like the Navy friendship here, this time between Theo and Andrew, and I really like how the mermaids turned out in this.

4. Episode Review for 3x09 of Robin Hood: A Dangerous Deal

I wrote a lot of meta during season three, mostly in the form of episode reviews.  This is one of my favorites (both in terms of the episode and in terms of the analysis).
