Oh Ye Gods... I Just caught up on Vampire Diaries.

Point the first: When did Jeremy Gilbert grow up into someone who looks THAT GOOD in a tank top chopping wood? I mean… surprise gun show for the win.

Point the second: I heard a lot about the WWII episode.  I liked it a lot. I was super happy about Damon and Stefan in period clothing/uniforms.  NO ONE TOLD ME WE GOT WWII ERA LEXI. I loved me some WWII era Lexi. I… just kind of love Lexi, and seeing how Damon KILLED HER, I’m happy to have her in any flashbacks we get.

Point the third: no one has ANY right to look as good covered in blood as Joseph Morgan does. KLAUS, WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO MY MORALS? (Answer: nothing Theon and Jaime haven’t already done.) I fear, though, that him killing all of those hybrids was playing right into Shane’s hands.

Point the fourth: Rebekah! I’ve missed you! And… I think you might actually have a FRIEND in April because you were nice to her and offered to help her find her dad and not because you compelled her. That’s really sweet.  We’ll see how that goes.

Point the fifth: Is it just me, or is this whole “how Damon should break the sire bond” thing.. not really breaking the sire bond at all, but instead USING IT to force Elena to stay away from him?  That’s not breaking the bond… and I’m having a really hard time buying the “It’s giving her her free will back,” because NO, it’s really not. That last scene was ROUGH. She doesn’t want to leave him.  Her MIND is telling her that she wants to stay enough that she can ARTICULATE that desire, but because she’s sired to Damon, her BODY wants to leave.  HOW IS THAT LETTING HER BE HERSELF AND HAVE A CHOICE? Especially when we’ve seen in episode after episode that the sire bond affect ACTION, not feeling/desire?

Point the sixth: Stefan, you are starting to annoy me. I see where you’re coming from, but you’re on thin ice with me.
