Lurching forward into the 21st century...

corrielleI'm hurtling into the future in all sorts of ways so far in 2012...
1. I have a Kindle. I know. E-readers are going to be the death of paper books. After moving all of mine, I have a hard time seeing a reduction in the number of physical books I own as a bad thing.
2. We got a PS3 for our Blu-Ray and Netflix needs. We watched a Blu-ray version of the first episode of GoT a couple of nights ago, and you could see individual snowflakes in the first scene beyond The Wall. I get what the fuss was about now.
3. As of today, my phone number is moved over to the iPhone Rae inherited. If you have my number and never texted me before because you knew my phone was ancient and held together by tape... fear no longer, and text away. First apps I downloaded? Kindle, the lj app, three news apps, and Angry Birds. Because nothing beats stress like killing arrogant green pigs.
