Once again, Law and Order does a number on my fandom brain.

Last night, it was the SVU episode where River Song from Doctor Who was playing a defense attorney whose last name was Pond. I kept wondering "What's so important about this case that River and the Doctor are interested?" Heh. (This was also the episode where Swoozie Kurtz, best and most recently known to me as Chuck's aunt from Pushing Daisies, was a corrupt, snippy judge.  Rae and I couldn't place her for a while... all we knew is we'd seen her humorously angry and a little drunk a lot.)

This morning, it's the L&O: CI episode where Natalie, the crazy assassin chick from the beginning of season 3 of Burn Notice, is the silver burglar's murderous girlfriend. 

And all of this still has nothing on the Bones episode that features Jayne Cobb, Theodore Groves, and Angel the mopey, re-souled vampire.  (To David Boreanaz's credit, I've watched a lot of Bones, and I almost never think "That's Angel!"  Booth is wildly different, so much so that I can look past years of Buffy-verse obsession.  Not that Adam and Greg aren't fantastic... they're just... not on Bones every week, so that episode still throws me.)

What? Me? Watching Law and Order instead of packing? Nah.... I can multitask. ;-)
